Braden Potter Dees is an American composer, arranger, and conductor whose work is shaped by personal experiences: touching on topics like grief, loss, and mental health. His pieces reflect his belief in using music as a powerful tool to express emotions beyond words. He strives to create settings that are evocative and meaningful to musicians and audiences alike.

In addition to his work as a composer, Braden has been playing trumpet for over 20 years, performing in collegiate and community ensembles including the Pensacola Civic Band, Pensacola Bay Concert Band, and the Capital City Bands of Tallahassee State College.

Driven by his passion for teaching and conducting music, Braden recently returned to college to pursue a degree in Music Education, aiming to share his love for music with future generations.
